September 7th ~ There’s something satisfying about the process of baking– measuring and melting and whisking. Take the raw pieces and spin them together, threads woven into a flavor tapestry. It’s simple and slow, but at least my idle hands are occupied, at least something whole and finished is materializing. Desserts are gone too quickly at my disposal, but at least I’ve had the satisfaction of creating something from nothing.
